Re: [HOE] New Martyrs for all you Templars! (Long, Possible Spoilers)

But you could make

*snip*
I actually did so after reading this so here he is. Once again feedback much
appreciated (See I'm planning to submit all these Martyrs and any anyone
else submits to the Epitaph hopefully).
Anyway on to Jackie Chan!

"Jackie Chan, Saint of Improvisation
Deed: Jackie appears to Templars that are forced to improvise to achieve
their mission.
This mighten't necessarily be as complicated as rigging an unlikely
explosive but could
simply be climbing up a wall by leverage climbing (ie. Pushing against one
wall with
your legs, the other with your shoulders and worming your way up), the only
real
requisite is that the improvisation is absolutely necessary and is
impressive (so defeating
a Red Hat with a ladder because your sword got broken would attract Saint
Chan).
However as always, Marshal has the final say.
White: Chan was a skilled Martial Artists in his own right. For his fiath in
rounds the
Templar gains +4 to all fightin' rolls.
Red: The Templar gains Jackie's talent to use any household object as a
potent weapon.
The Templar gains the ability to use any household object as a potent
weapon, using your
best fightin' aptitude type and dealing Str+2D8 damage and with a DB
commensurate of
it's size (A ladder would probably be DB +3) for his faith in minutes.
Blue: "This guy moves like a monkey!"
The Templar gains Jackie's nimbleness, having their Nimbleness increased by
3 steps
and gaining the Jumpin' aptitude (if they don't have it) of 4. This all
lasts for the
Templar's faith in minutes.
Legend: Often Saint Chan fought against great odds but if he did not defeat
them all the
time he at least managed to escape them most of the time. You may spend a
Legend Chip
in an encounter where you are outnumbered by odds of at least 2-to-1. For
the rest of the
combat you receive a bonus to your Pace and all fightin', shootin' and dodge
rolls equal
the amount of people you (or your Posse is you are with one) are outnumbered
by. For
example if your Posse of five people was attacked by 30 Black Hats you would
receive a
bonus of +25 to your Pace and your fightin', shootin' and dodge rolls.
However this
bonus lasts only for that one encounter so choose when to throw that Legend
Chip wisely
(You may notice this ability is similar to Saint Gates' Legend Chip ability.
The key
difference is with that you have to be the Underdog so being outclassed will
allow you to
use it. Saint Chan requires you to be outnumbered by at least 2-to-1)
Vexation: Saint Chan was famous as something of a funny man who always took
defeat
and embarrassment in good grace. If your Templar reacts poorly (as in
complaining
loudly or something similar) to something negative to them then Saint Chan
forsakes
them for a week. If the Templar ever attacks someone without them being
aware of the
Templar's presence then the Templar is forsaken totally (more often than not
Jackie was
the one being ambushed.)."
