Well, I have to disagree with this.  Although the pressure would attempt to
equalize, I don't think the pressure inside the round would be nearly high
enough to cause the round to rupture.  Obviously I have never taken a bullet
into a vacuum, but the shell casing should be more than strong enough to
hold in the small amount of air inside.  Of course, the exploding rounds
would still be cool for a nasty effect. : )
