rather than make a bunch of different e-mails, i'll
tell you guys everything i'm up to.
first, i need help with my android edge. it's
got a lot of different bodies but i need about 30 more, thanks to jeff's
wonderful suggestion that i make a full 54. i'll put the ones i have so
far at the bottom of the e-mail.
secondly, my site will shortly have chapters 8 and
9 up, where we start to see young brian shaping into a true hero. yeah,

and i really need some feedback from anyone who's
read it^_^.
next, the realtime strategy game. i've been
looking through all the mechanics, and i need one more thing--a person to draw
all those little people. this game would be all but done if we could get
an artist, so someone please volunteer!
lastly, some freinds and I worked the kinks out of
a card game, which I've created a deadlands version of. it's basically a
hugely simplified version of the rules that lets you pick 5 characters out from
the story, lets you equip and train them, and lets you fight against your
opponent who has done the same. expect to see the season 1 expansion
done(this game's free, by the way) as soon as i've copied all the text i
have onto jpeg images.

Your waster's one of those andriods that had an "awakening". In truth, what usually happened was that a tech spirit wandered into the AI programming for an early andriod and it now has all the benefits of personality and free will. yipee! What this means in game terms is that you suffer wounds like harrowed, only a shot to the head will destroy you. then, your tech spirit self is blown all to hell. unless you have the smarts to evacuate the body(it takes about 5 minutes), that means you're gone forever, no hunting grounds for you. another disadvantage of this is that the AI still has a small but noticable grasp on you, lowering your spirit die type to a maximum of d6. plus, you can't buy any other arcane background. ow. but, being part tech spirit and all, you can use ANY of the powers that your browser spirit type has at level 6(still costs chips, look at the junkman cometh). in addition, you still have a link with the hunting grounds and may help direct tech spirits to a junker, giving said junker a +3 to his science:occult engineering roll for building a device. oh yeah, choose a tech spirit type, so you can determine which powers you can use. Anyways, remove the restriction on your spirit, and raise it a step from what it was before you reduced it, to a maximum of d12. You can choose what kind of body you want. jb:your robot has a malfunction. let your GM worry about what it does to you, she can be really nasty about it too. android edges: 2-EMP shielding-your android is immune to emp effects. 2-guts focus-your "brain" is in your guts rather than your head. a blown-up head doesn't kill you, just makes it damn hard to see. 4-outside focus-you're remotely controlling this body from a remote location(wherever your home county is). if your body's blown to smithereens, you don't tear up your character sheet, but you may have to find a new body. |
