Lets see, I've bought and ran most of the premades(everything but the Unity
and Hell or High Water) and her are my thoughts.
Urban Renewal is probably the best. Very well done, and if you can get the
mood right, you can really freak out the posse
Boise Horror is good. Posse Members will probably die. It helps to forward
the HOE metaplot(which I like) and it has some interesting twists
Apocalypse Now(Marshall Screen Adventure. Also very fun. A good intro
adventure, not impossible but not easy either.
Adventures in the back of books. I can take or leave them. The
Destroyer(in the Templar book) is probably the most useful. I thing the one
in Vegas is almost unrunable(it just seems to be lacking to much info for
me). The others are okay, and are generally nice short one night
adventures(although be warned, the Denver adventure is EXTREMELY deadly).
Dime Novels. I liked all three of them. They are short sweat and to the
point. The players had fun with them and so did I.
Hell or High Water. The first Adventure to come out(well after the Marshal
screen), I have had plans of running this as a one shot somewhere, I never
could get my posse near enough to the Mississippi to even think about
running it.
Something about a Sword. Not great. Its an okay adventure, but not only is
the plot a little thin. The ending magic item is WAY to powerful(Hackmaster
+15 Munchkin powerful). I'm just lucky the Templar using it died in the
Boise Horror and the rest of the posse gave the sword back to the Templars
to reissue it.
The Unity. Haven't finished it yet, So I can't comment to much. The
beginning really does rail road the posse(my group really didn't mind much).
The 2nd half is the fun part in my opinion. I should know more in a few
weeks when I finish it.
