Actually I always thought it was rather pesimistic. Well split really, I
mean you have powered suits of battle armor and hover tanks assaulting
towns full of Chevy Impalas and 16-wheelers from the (19)80's!

Anyway... I used to have this cool link to a Shadowrun site about life
imitating fiction. Basically it had news articles about things like
cyber-limbs, credsticks and even thought-controlled computers being tested
in the real world. Lost the link thought :(
