Well here is what I'm thinking

1) Maybe he was talking to some people about trying the Deadlands/Hell On 
Earth/Lost Colony Comic.

2) He didn't head for LA so talks about a Deadlands Movie is probably out

3) Maybe Pinnacle is planning on packing up and moving to the Midwest.  I'm 
familiar with the area and Shane did seem to not mention anything about what 
he did between Bloomington-Normal, and Lake Geneva.  And if he flew I-55 up 
from bloomington he would have went through Chicago(The Happiest place on 
Earth, Screw what Disney says) and the Burbs.
