Let's see...
I killed a blessed in my Deadlands game once. I had decided that
this one fight was going to be really tough, so if anyone died I was going
to bring them back harrowed (I also wanted to try having a harrowed in the
posse :). In all honesty I had expected the gunslinger to charge in and
die, so when the blessed did it was quite a surprise.
I also killed a REALLY annoying kid/gunslinger in the group. The
posse had been time-warped to HoE and had run into a few automatons. The
kid got the brilliant idea to charge one and shoot down it's grenade-hole.
This blew up the automaton and the player as well. The player decided to
cheese out and spend the minimum number of chips to take all his wounds
down to critical, since the harrowed blessed could heal him no problem.
Well the harrowed blessed was in the midst of healing someone else
and wasn't about to stop saving one person's life to save another. On top
of that it took the posse several minutes to get it together after the
fight and even realize the kid was still alive. By then he had bled out
(even after spending all his chips. That was the last time that player
played with us.
Can't say I morn the passing of his character of the player from
the group though.
