the power says if you have a card you can
vamoose, as its a reward i would
say that if you have a card you dont
have to see the attack coming, otherwise
its a crap version of a dodge
roll.

...Except for the fact that the spell turns around and
hits the caster if you succeed. I'll take that over a normal vamoose
any day, thanks.
Anyway, I'd say that the Templar has to know the
spell/miracle/power is coming to be able to use it. It seems like an
active defense to me. If someone brain blasts him from 50 yards away
and he doesn't notice, his reward won't automatically kick
in.
