Though, of course, some people might want to consider a factor like the
bad Kris Kristofferson/Lance Henrikson movie "Knights".  Make the
Combine almost unstoppable to everybody but one person who knows how to
kill them effectively, but he (or she) is not immortal or anything like
that and needs help.

Even if that one person tries to teach the "method" of killing Combine
troops, it doesn't work reliably for anybody else.  They simply don't
have the knack...
