You know I've had this happen with a lot of books that have color inserts.  
After a while the inserts start comming out, then the rest of the book 
follows(I had a Shadowrun 2nd edition disintegrate on me).  If your books 
get a lot of wear and tear like mine.  You should think about going to 
kinkos and getting them hole punched and rebound.  They do a nice job, it 
keeps the pages all together, and you can lay a book flat out without 
worrying about breaking the binding.
