Oh my...excellent advice. I was Marshalling a game this past year...didn't 
go to well seeing as how I let everyone have free reign to make their 
characters (not saying you shouldn't, but...)

The one fellow made a character straight from Interstate '76 ('fro, leisure 
suit, mirror shades...you get the drill). And he was a total gun freak. The 
other fellow was a tail-teller, and a pacifist to boot. So you could see 
some problems arising there. The tension between the characters (and the 
players, I might add) got to the point everyone just quit the game. I guess 
you learn lessons that way.
