Yeah, it should be only char. withOUT AB's can get MB's.
Why do you think it's so powerful? In order for it to work you have to
critically fail. And it does NOTHING to stop the bad affects from occuring
to you, it just makes bad things ALSO happen to your opponent. The
edge/hinderance basically cancel each otehr out (from points perspective)
and you shouldn't discount the ability of the marshal to use you as a
total tool and plot device. That's a big penalty if you have a good
marshal.
Compared with the abilities of the AB's it doesn't seem unbalancing. I
could argue that the ability to cast Nuke and MIRV and Molecular Cohesion
on yourself is worth way more than 3pts. But there are drawbacks to being
a doomie that are supposed to balance it. Nothings perfect, but 3 pts.
didn't seem unreasonable to me...
