I've read the Punisher for years, and I can't get over how many people
think he's a good guy. He isn't; he's simply the bad guy you want on
your side. He's an anti-hero, not a hero.
I loved the latest version of the Punisher. He's a sick <expletive
deleted> and I like that. It's an interesting story, especially with
the ways he makes his enemies suffer. Still, I never consider him a
good guy, or that he's being "too harsh" on his enemies. From his POV,
he can never be too harsh on them.
Of course, then again, I liked "The Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe",
too. :)
