It might work...it might not...
Try and make them cry. I'll bet you ten to one harrowed don't cry;
tear-ducts don't work after they're all dried out, and the manitou keeps the
harrowed's eyes "fresh" anyway... Plus, the Infiltrator package doesn't
mention fake tears.
And no, I don't mean force the deader to watch sad movies. If you're not
too worried about making them mad, a blast of tear gas, pepper spray, or
something similar SHOULD give you a strong indication as to whether or not
they're dead or alive; the cyborgs will be the ones calmly asking why you
did that, while normal folks will be too busy trying to claw their own eyes
out.
Of course, if they AREN'T cyborgs, you might have some explaining to do...
