Rather than try and come up with a system of charges and drain, I'd probably
(assuming it can be done) just abstract the whole thing. Light power armor
suits like the Diablo and X-Suit would be able to function continuously for
about 48 hours after a fueling, while the Purgatory and Wolverine suits
would last only about 24 hours (less in the case of a Wolverine who keeps
using the Ripper). May not necessarily seem like a great deal, but remember
that Armored Infantry would be accompanied by APC's that they could hook up
to on a regular basis. Also, remember that the suits get to operate
CONTINUOUSLY for this time; it's not "put the suit on, power up, finish
combat, take the suit off" anymore. Now you get to keep the sucker on 24
hours a day (though most troopers would likely only keep it on 12 hours a
day, barring an emergency). Automatons beware.

Of course, all that's just a big fat abstraction on my part, so don't forget
to take your salt with it.
