[HOE] Powered armor and hovertanks...oh my.

Erg...yeah...head...hurt...
Well, obviously unmodified suits wouldn't be a problem. It sounds like
the hover tank couplings were custom made for this kind of thing.
However, since Wasted West didn't give any stats for unmodified suits,
we don't really have much to go on here even if it IS possible. I mean,
assuming you can do it, how long does the charge provided by the fusion
reactor hold for and what's the point drain rate (my gut says "quite a
while and not very much" - nice and useful)? As far as how to unconvert
modified suits, having a Spirit Battery "strapped on to the back" of a
battle suit is definitely a bit vague and bodgerish. I'd say if a
Junker could do it, he could undo it - but I have solid basis upon how
difficult that would be to accomplish. Heck, perhaps the Spirit Battery
unit is just attached as an "alternative" power source and it doesn't
even need to be uncoupled. I couldn't find anything in the available
books that really says one way or the other. Jeez, Kai - this is a good
one. It does stand to reason that someone in the know that had a
non-functioning hover tank with a functioning reactor could tap it for
power - but as for how many taps, for how much, and how fast I just
can't say. The closest thing we have to go from really are the rules
for the Junker Reactor power and I don't think that's really in the same
ball park (I'd like to think a standard fusion reaactor is a bit more
efficient and stable). Anyone else have any thoughts on this mess (of
course, getting the digest version of the list, perhaps this has been
resolved already....but somehow I doubt it)?
