[HOE] Waste Warriors Questions [SHANE]

OK, first off, I'm surprised in MANY more ways than one. First, I got the
bloody thing so earily!!! It's usually a month or so late that I get
supplements here in the Great White (Weird?) North, but, I ordered, and it
came!

Second, I have a renewed faith in Pinnacle!!! Nah, I never really lost it,
but DARN, is this here book PURTY!!! Why Cybergames wanted to prevent
others from seeing it, I now know (They wanted it all for themselves, the
greedy buggers!). Beautiful art, VERY few grammatical errors that I've seen
in other Pinnacle books, beautiful locals... And, heck, you even mentioned
Canada in a positive light (Able to keep the Yanks out with little
difficulty! YAY, EH!!!). All that, and it comes to me backaged in a
convient binding that keeps all the pages together!!! OK, the last comes
with all of Pinnacle's products (And most other RPGs as well), but I don't
think I can tout about this book enough.

BUT, even the best written supplement will have a myrad of questions, and I
hope these haven't been answered yet (I also hope that the Accumulated
Rulings folks are still awake and getting both questions and answers, this
is DEFINETLY on the "Must Buy" list for HoE!!!). I haven't seen 'em yet,
but that doesn't mean anything.

On with the questions.

First, a nitpick, and a question. On page #9, it shows a bunch of guys
getting out of an VTOL craft, ready to kick arse, and take DNA samples, with
the sub-quote "Confederate Armor rushes to Counterattack the Mexican
Spearhead". HUH? Later on, this made sense, when it appeared again on page
27, with the sub-quote "UN Troops deploying for battle". Seeing as the VTOL
has "United Nations" written on the side, this makes sense. Now, normally,
I wouldn't complain, but with the WONDEROUS art in this book, I don't want
to miss any of it! Is the missing piece of art going to resurface
somewhere? Possibly on the Pinnacle Website?

Second, did you forget, or cut out, the designations for the NA Commando and
SA Commando SMGs? Or are those their designations? (Rather cruddy
designations, if you ask me...).

Third, on page #58, the magazine list shows "Belt Links" for two different
guns, and a really cheap price (10 and 20 cents to be exact). Are these the
prices for belted ammo? And if it is, is it per shot? Otherwise, how do
you deal with belted ammo prices? (I'd also like the prices for the M2HB
belts too, if it's not too too much difficulty. Thanks.).

Fourth, on page #60 (Aren't page numbers wonderful?), the text goes into
talking about "Combat Pack (See page XX)"... Let me guess... Cut for space
reasons, eh? Can't have everything. Oh well... Can we get info on this
lovely sounding device? Or do we have to wait for a new book?

Fifth, and final ("Thank goodness, I thought he was never going to shut up."
You think? Don't blame ya!), on page #63, it goes on about
Minesweepers... But doesn't list a price or availability for 'em. Can we
get those please? I'd like to know how much to soak my Posse after they
hear the *Click* of pain and torment. ;-)

Well, that's about it. LOVE the book! Worth waiting for (And even good
enough for me to stop complaining about the loss of GWN for... Oh... A
Month or so), and here's hoping that you get back on solid ground!!!

Ray.
