[HOE] Martial artists and claws

A lot of martial arts powers require a bare-handed strike to be effective.Would
you count a character with claws--supernatural or technological--to be making
bare-handed strikes? Some martial arts styles do use stabbing or slashing
strikes with the fingertips, so it doesn't seem too implausible.

I've got an idea for a martial artist who had Big Britches and watched too much
anime before the Apocalypse; after the bombs dropped, he strode out into the
wastelands to hunt demons with his fists of fury, got his ass handed to him,
crawled back suitably humbled, and eventually came to Junkyard, where he decided
that mere flesh alone was clearly too weak to oppose the demons and got himself
tricked out and cybered up by the cyberdocs there. How's that sound?
