But you'll pay for Deadlands books?

The money you pay to Pyramid pays one single editor and a whole bunch of
freelance authors who work hard to submit quality material for a variety of
game systems. 

The SJGames website is much more extensive than just Pyramid, and even if
you're not paying for Pyramid you can take a look at free sample articles
and the first three paragraphs of all the rest of the articles.
