[HOE] I have an idea, Shane, Allen, EVERYONE
I have an idea, but first there is something I need to say,
Look everyone, I was bitching about Waste Warriors for months, and I had a
running battle on the HERO boards with some people from Cybergames, so I
feel responsible for the fincaial mess that Shane is in right now. (Shane,
I am sorry, I had no idea that any of this would happen, All I wanted was
quality customer service, I didn't mean for it to fall down around your head
like it did.)
I'm not rich, I can't buy up enough of PEG to make everything instanly
alright, but I can do this. Aside from a few good ideas on the DL listserv,
I also had an idea to get capital straight to Shane. Besides buying
products why don't we, the marshals donate some of our material like
adventures and source info to PEG so they can put them up as downloadable
titles. Because we are doing the writing it wouldn't require alot of time
from Shane's end, and the material cost would be negilible after all, for
these they wont need to pay the printer and stuff like that.
So thought, can we make it work?
Please don't shot down the idea because it seems doomed to failure, after
all, look what just happened over the last few days, many of us thought
something like Cybergames pulling the plug would be impossible. By
definition, I believe in standing up to impossible odds because it is the
right and good thing to do. If you are committed to doing this, Guts,
brains and Grace will pull you through. It ain't easy, but I would rather
tell my creator I fought and died hard, than to tell him I didn't even lift
a finger.
Hey, Allen, let's write the first adventure together, it can be about a
Deputy and a Doc who kill a moster and save the Wasted West. I just hope it
has a happy ending...
Doc out
PS
Remember when Steve said that he was committed to continuing the Deadlands
line?
