Ask your bank if you can get a debit card. These things are great. They're
basically a credit card that works like a check--anything that takes a credit
card will take a debit card, but the money comes immediately out of your bank
account, so you can't overdraw and you don't get bills or interest payments.
This does mean you have to have the money *now*, not next month, but I've always
thought that buying things you can't pay for is stupid.
