Yeah, my take too. No lungs, no airflow. No airflow, no sound. No sound,
well, you get the idea. Other than this (and maybe a little bouyancy
control while swimming -- user adjustable air pockets and all), the deader
doesn't have much use for any of his soft internal parts. OK, OK, so the
stomach makes a good storage space, but, ewww! ;-)
