Realistically speaking, that should require a net input of energy and
some kind of charging circuitry to accomplish.  Consider that
connecting an empty battery to a full one would leave you two
half-charged batteries, minus any losses do to imperfect conduction
and storage.

How does the spiritual energy directly extractable from ghost rock
compare to the charge you can put into a battery?  If there's any
difference, I would use that to gauge the loss rate.
