I'd think you still have to roll for the pack. Spirit batteries don't have
stability or rise backlash, though, so there's no reason why this should be a
problem. Also remember that a large battery pack can be made up of a number of
smaller batteries, in case you're planning to build something with a humongous
200-point battery and don't want to have to try for TN 23.
