I agree with Terry about this. I work at a
comic/gaming store and everytime someone asks about a
game and I don't know or it should be out already and
we don't have it it frustrates me and the customers.
Perfect examples of this are ANYTHING from Decipher
(but especially the Young Jedi CCG), and more recently
the very vague "November" release of the new Star Wars
RPG by WoC.
If anything, CG should authorize printing of some of
the older books (my store can't even get the Marshal's
Guide for DL).
Its not fun telling a customer (at least once or twice
a day) that we don't have the product they CAME INTO
THE STORE WITH THE INTENT TO BUY. They are forced to
leave, but never empty handed. No, when they leave
they are carrying a nice dose of disillusionment. Who
do they blame? Pinnacle. Not because its their fault,
but because thats the Logo on the books.
