I've only run one adventure: HoHW.  The posse of six is the half of
the Deadlands posse with the best attention spans and reliability.
The Marshal of that game is a player in this, and vice-versa.  HoHW
was recommended fairly unanimously on this list a few months ago as
the best starter for a new set of players, so I went with that.

It gave them a start all right.  They found out that "guts" was more
important than they had imagined!  Can you believe that one character
had *zero*?  And that character belonged to the DL Marshal?!
Needless to say, they fell back in disorder from BRMH with zero
kills, and one of their number critically wounded.  One character
finally managed his guts roll with one foot on the boat back to NBR.

They came back again after some idle time in town, spending their
chips on improving the overlooked stat.  I had had they bad guys make
some simple preparations to repel a second assault.  The posse did
manage to put down a great many bad guys, but the main baddie managed
an escape that they dared not follow.

Now I've got to prepare for them to either try a third time (some of
the characters are taking it personally) or move on.  The main baddie
of course will change his base of operations and since I involved
Mama T (from downriver) in the setup they have a source of possible
hints.
