[HOE] Urban Renewal (Not the Cover)
This has nothing to do with the cover. I don't care about the cover. It's
just a picture and it's everything that's inside that counts. Please don't
bother me or the list about the cover in response to this.
Just picked up UR and started running it with my posse tonight and it is in
my top three favorite HOE adventures ever, the other two being Boise Horror
and the one in the back of the Templars book (the name escapes me
currently).
Brought it home after buying it and meant to read only the first chapter and
then order a pizza or somesuch but I ended up reading the full thing from
start to finish and then reading it again right after. It is most excellent
in it's storytelling and the right mix of gore, horror and nifty stuff. The
movie references all throughout were great and I'm still finding some I
missed before.
Plus it gives great examples on how to run a "haunted house" type setting
for HOE or any other game system.
Hate for this to look like PEG fanboy ranting or whatever but I was truly
impressed by Urban Renewal and I'd buy it again if I had to.
