You make some valid points and what you said is even eye-opening, but
don't make this into a personal issue. We're all consumers here, and
there's no reason for any of us to buy something we don't want. If
McDonalds suddenly started putting peanut butter on their hamburgers, you (I
mean you generically, not you personally) wouldn't expect us to buy them if
we hate peanut butter. I think I understand why Pinnacle is deciding to do
this but, personally, I think it's a mistake. Granted, I haven't seen the
new books yet, but I'm pretty sure it's okay for me to have an opinion,
sight unseen. Trust me, I'm going to visit my local gaming store when the
first new book comes out and I'm going to flip through it in the store. If
it turns out I like it, I'll buy it. But, if it turns out to be like I
imagine, I don't see any reason to spend my money on something I don't want
or need. I guess if that means Pinnacle goes out of business, so be it but,
damn, I hate peanut butter! ;-)
