[HOE] Alternate Taint rules
i have been giving a lot of thought to the taint rules for junkers and IMHO
they seem a bit too much of a slippery slope. So i have been working on the
following house rule and would love other ppl's opinion. To my mind the
taint is there to prevent Junkers from just becoming their own arms
development program, which i think is a great idea. The problem is the
junker is going to end up in my hands (as marshal) very quick unless they
have pretty good spirit levels. So i am going to make it just as easy to get
tainted but for every ten sucesses for using non-gun spirits powers you can
"cleanse" yourself of level 1 taint. This encourages junkers to be creative
and create non weopon related gizmos more which in my mind is a great thing
for the game. By the way should they not get rid of the level 1 taint and go
to level 2 then its 20 sucesses you need then 30 then 40 for 3 & 4
taint...any ideas/opinions most welcome...should it be more than 10? maybe
it should be 10 whole devices with a certain stability?
