Deadlands and Indians is.... The best portrayal of Native Americans around! 
Good Indians! Baaad Indians! Male indians! Female indians!  dumb indians! 
Smart indians!  

    What do you know, they did Indians well by having Indians of all types.  

And HoE so far has been doing a lot of work to do the same with women, but so 
far is does still fall into the trap that all the women have to be purty.  I 
agree with the post saying the UR cover is a throwback.  I'm just pointing 
out a bias that may serve to do injustice to the game.  

    It's a step foreward (The Archetypes are half women folk), but there's a 
way to go (No old ones, None with disfiguring mutations, None with 'ugly as 
sin', none with 'obese'.  These hinderances are reserved for men!).  

    Note: I could be wrong, but only if the Sawbones in the Wasted West book 
is a woman.... which would be really cool!
