Re: [HOE] Urban Renewal cover

Yep, and I'll be honest, I *loved* the adventure. Hell, I'm considering
re-working it and using parts of it in *my* HoE game, which is something I
almost *never* do.
Of course, reading the adventure confirmed my suspicion that the cover has
nothing to do with anything that happens in the adventure... ;P
Which, BTW, is the difference between the cover to UR, and most of the
examples you cited. Sad Sisters and a shirtless Cole Ballad who pins his
badge to his chest are both elements of the game world, for better or
worse. My biggest problems with the cover to Urban Renewal are 1) the
picture has nothing to do with the story; at no point in the adventure does
Sidney strip down. In fact, she's described as "practical and efficient".
2) I'm frankly still a bit bothered by the fact that Shane told us Law Dogs
was as bad as it's going to get, then went against that. I understand when
a company *needs* to change it's policy- what I don't understand is when a
company changes its policy simply to pander to the lowest common
denominator.
