Greetings,

This is my first post since GenCon, had a great time.  Internet down, bad 
cable modem, it doesn't like our Lynx box/server.  BUT ANYWAY here goes...

Hasbro, the owner of WotC has a long history of corprate takeovers.
Everytime they take over a company the newly acquired company is allowed to 
operate autonomously for a few years.  After that time has experied they are 
call home.  The acquired are moved to the Hasbro offices in RI, and taken 
over.  They are allowed some say in their product, but they don't have a 
final say.  Hasbro in all its infinate wisdom has no idea how to run a game 
company, none.

So here is the Rob Dake Corprate Fortune Teller/CEO Palm Reader's opinion:

Poke'mon will turn down here in a year or so, maybe two.

Hasbro will take a loss.

Hasbro will call in their marker with WotC.

WotC will move to RI, taking maybe 5% of their, overstaffed staff with them. 
  The rest will be terminated, probably to start their own company, only to 
get crushed under the corprate and legal might of Hasbro Inc.

Hasbro having no idea how to run a "gaming" company will force feed poke'mon 
to kids, turning them against it, and maybe even CCG's.

But the long and short of it is Hasbro will kill WotC through over 
marketization and/or consumer backlash.
