[HOE] Hinderance

I would think the natural downside to buying Edges is that they're expensive! 
 

I seem to have been misunderstood, I didn't say ELIMINATE hinderances, I 
meant merely to not give points for them.  If you want BlackTome, the 
bloodthirsty vengeful ginslinger with an Oath to Kill everything in a yellow 
Beanie (in order to stop the Yellow beanie menace in his nightmares), go 
right ahead.  It's just that this guy doesn't get more points than John, the 
Surprisingly emotionally well-adjusted Gunslinger.  

The big question is, does it make sense that BlackTome is a better gunslinger 
than John because he has nightmares?  Those night terrors do nothing 
practical to make his gunslinging better, but in HoE, the five points you get 
for taking them REALLY makes you a better slinger
