[HOE] Some Marshall help



Introducing the posse to the villains early!?  

A wonderful plan!  have the party meet the bad guys early on and have the bad 
guys MESS THEM UP!!!!   This gives motivation to the party, it gives the 
players a chance to see how the bad guys do business firsthand, and it's just 
fun plot!

In one game I ran, one player chose the hinderance 'one armed bandit'.  So 
what I did was begin the adventure with the party wounded in the desert and 
taking cover from a black rain storm.  In the storm, I ran a flashback...

    At the beginning of the flashback, the party's healthy, happy, and 
trading in town.  The one player even has both arms!  So, when the zombie 
biker gang rides through rampaging (plague zombies, cancer zombies, walkin 
deads with faminites on leashes), the party has to go up against the big 
villain, The Zombie Kang!  And so when the one character charges at The Kang 
with a crowbar, and gets his arm chopped off by the Kang's 8' headless 
double-chainsaw wielding undead bodyguard, everyone is happy. They get romped 
around, wounded, and they have to slink out of there.   

    Intro the main bad guys, early.  THEN the party knows about this new 
menace to the wested west and  they can start thinking about how on earth to 
stop it!
