the description of fightin': florentine says that if you have a weapon
in each hand that you have the appropriate fightin' skills for, and if
you get a raise on the fightin': florentine roll, you can use the raise
to have the second weapon hit the same location as the first. (basically
two melee hits against one location in the same action). the question
is, is the damage for both weapon hits TOTALED and then assessed for
wound levels, or are the wound levels dealt by the weapons assessed
seperately? the reason for my confusion is that it is technically one
attack, not two :) any feedback would be appreciated! >>
Getting a raise on florentine roll simply means that the second weapon hits.
It does not necessarily hit the same location (even if it did, its damage
would be resolved separately). If your hero is not taking a called shot, each
weapon hits a random location. Raises beyond that needed to make the second
weapon hit can be used to adjust the hit locations of one or both weapons,
but each raise can only adjust one weapon by one point. In a called shot
situation, the first weapon hits the targeted area, while the second weapon
hits a random one. Additional raises can be used to adjust the location of
the second weapon.
