No. This is a good thing. Humanity wasn't ready for them thirteen
years ago when they last manifested. Now that we have heroes
stirring hope - Cole Ballad, Jo, the Iron Alliance, etc - we
might yet fight them off. If we can kill just one...

Of course, humanity will be depleted if Junkyard fights the
Combine. I need to read the Iron Alliance books (which are they?)
