I have a general rule for character gen, anyway; if I don't like the look of
it, it goes. That's the rule for good and bad draws. And in my opinion, it's
in the players best interest; how much fun can a character who is good at
absolutely everything be? Sure, you can shoot down people at 3 miles off,
leap tall buildings in a single bound, as well as design nuclear rockets in
your spare time, but how much fun is that? I'ts the old superman/batman
divide. Now I know people are going to disagree with me, but superman bored
me to tears. Of course he succeeded. He's invincible. No surprises there.
Now batman, with his abundance of flaws, was forced to rely on much more
sneaky and interesting methods.
Now this having been said, if some makes a really bad draw, one that mucks
up their whole character idea (no, I don't consider "Unstoppable Gun Nut" a
valid character idea) then I let him redraw. It's only right.
