the major military powers tried something like this before...the harrowed
mind couldn't handle being in a body that is vastly different than that
of a person.  Zombie brains are fine, but a full-fledged Cyborg sub
wouldn't work.

and escaped...you've got a totally mad, unpiloted nuclear sub SOMEWHERE
