[HOE] [HoE] Yucca Mountain

Hey Gang,

Stumbled across this while checking some news groups, though I know
someone mentioned it to me before...whee!  Anyone familiar with it?
Here's a quick description...The U.S. Department of Energy is studying
Yucca Mountain, Nevada, to determine if it's a suitable place to build a
geologic repository for the nation's commercial and defense spent
nuclear fuel and high-level radioactive waste...and it's only about 100
miles NorthWest of Las Vegas, Nevada in Nye County in the middle of the
Nellis Air Force Range.  Gee...need I mention any names?  Sparking any
ideas for anyone?  Before you answer, here's the link for the Office of
