[HoE] The Librarian's Almanac



Howdy wasters,
	I had a bit of a brainstorm and I'd thought I would share with the
list. I was a big fan of the Today in the Wild West threads over in the DL
lists and kinda had a run on ideas for HOE. The way that I framed it was
series of reports to Librarians around the wasted west. What I'll do is post
a few here and there every couple of days for general commentary. What I'd
really like to see is where other Marshal's go with them.

	Without further ado, the Librarian's Almanac for May 15th...



Pueblo Flats announces that the General Market will accept goods from
traders from outside the town walls. Two days later, the crowd has reached
excessive levels and the Law Dogs are called in to prevent a potential riot.

The Red Rock Trading company announces regular routes to Near Tucson,
Mogollon, Glenwood, and Lordsburg from Sedona. A general call for caravan
guards goes out.

Scouts from the Engineer's Society in Apache Junction log reports of
nocturnal flying creatures with a six-foot wingspan. A substantial reward is
offered to the person who can bag and identify one of these swift
nightflyers.

A trader from Hobbs, New Mexico arrives with a story of the Carlsbad Caverns
being sealed up by cement. The locals talk of hearing mechanical digging
sounds from under the earth.
