[HoE] A Day in the Life

So just of out of curiosity, what do travelling characters in your group 
_do_ all day?

The Wasted West companion book seems to assume that you spend 8 hours 
travelling, to judge from the travel/mph chart. (i.e., 20 miles in a day if 
you walk 2.5 mph on foot - yes, the Car figure seems to be out...).

And you spend (roughly) 8 hours sleeping.

So that leaves 8 hours in the day.  You're probably not scavengin' (not if 
your enroute to somewhere and working on the ole heel-toe or putting the 
pedal to the 20mph middle) or anything.

So what does your group do with that spare 8 hours a day?
