[HoE] Next stop: Adventure TITLES...

I don't know about all you out there, but the best way to inspire myself
into a basic story idea sometimes is to come up with some great adventure
names, and see where those themes take you. Here's a few of the titles for
my in-the-works yarns:

"Long Overdue"
-The posse aids a Librarian seeking a rumored intact Library in the ruins
of Cedar Rapids. The librarian is long dead, but that doesn't keep her from
seeking vengeance on those borrowers who never returned their books, and the
posse certainly seems to look like them...

"A Clockwork Green"
-Not too sure on this one yet. It's definitely gonna be Combine related,
and feature mutants, as well. Thanks to PJB for the idea of the Combine
Brutality Squads, though...I'm sure they'll figure in here somewhere.

"Behold, the Power of Cheese"
-No idea where I'm going with this, but something in the back of my mind
keeps telling me that the fungal cultures used to curdle cheese could somehow
mutate...sure, it sounds silly, but isn't that the GREATEST name for a
yarn???? <grin>

"The Search For Spork"
-A tribe of peaceful mutants have lost their leader, the Great and
Powerful Spork. But they cannot function without him - he's the only one
who's not totally indecisive. I think that the Combine has something to do
with his disappearance, but I haven't decided how...yet.

"Those Stars Ain't Right!"
-Post-Apocalyptic Horrors From Beyond Time and Space, anyone?

"The Red Badge of Horror"
-Working with the original inspiration for the Red River Devil, local are
beseiged by an unkillable monster, created by one Guilt-ridden Syker's
subconcious. The posse only figures this out, of course, once they re-live
the Faraway war in their dreams, courtesy of aforementioned Skyer.

"Poke-monsters!"
-Alright, this is downright silly, but couldn't you just imagine some kid
who has the power to bring the cards to life? Suddenly, this 5-year-old card
shark is now running the town. Think of the segment of "Twilight Zone: The
Movie" with the kid and the schoolteacher.

Who else has some great story titles, and even ideas to go with them?
