Devils Tower III was, to me, not worth the boxed set. If they had an
adventure and setting info less intertwined, I could see it, but it is
tough to use the Crossbreeds and Devil's Tower for anything other then the
adventure the way it is run together.

That is not, however, my biggest gripe. FoF was just bad. The hook was
bad "Hi, I am from the Future" and the fact it was badly railroaded
contributed. Worst of all was the near invincible NPC vs. the Invincible
stone. One group I know of (but was not it)actually stopped and played
poker while it went on, figuring Jackie could handle anything. (the GM
started making her miss and fumble, which was a bad move given she had
never not killed with one shot the whole time previously). The fact is,
the PCs being their is near pointless. Jackie will succeed or fail without
them. (not to mention a fight which broke out when someone used Achilles
Heel on stone, and the GM would not tell his weakness).

This does not suprise me. I thought they exaggerated before I bought
it. Now that I have it, I see it as a shining example of how not to do an
adventure.

Something... was just not a very good adventure. It seemed an excuse to
drop the sword into the world. but this has already been addressed, and I
am tired.
