This movie is a beautiful thing. Lance Mungia, the director, is from my
hometown and I first had a chance to view this masterpiece at Anime Expo
1999 on a full sized screen. However, my posse and I were discussing tonight
how perfect Buddy would be as a Templar. He's already a hip, kick ass sword
swingin' hero so all that would need to be done is turn the Rock n' Roller
persona into a regular disguise he uses and have the tabard underneath. He'd
have a sidekick (the kid) and a definate Enemy 5 what with Top Hat (I refuse
to call him Death, for reasons I can't give away without spoiling the flick)
and his posse after him all the time. He and Ash could team up and be
unstoppable.
