Interesting you should bring this up... I started wondering about this
today, myself...
I was rereading the HoE main book, and noticed a passage that I had
forgotten about:
p. 34 - under History:
"Even some of the books that survived the Apocalypse don't agree on when
the American Civil War ended, who won the Great Rail Wars, and a few other
key issues. Strange, huh?"
-HoE Main Book. (don't sue me) ;-)
At first I thought, okay.. they just haven't decided themselves how history
will turn out, no big deal. I still think this is true, but I also have
begun to wonder if there isn't some insidious plot to keep people confused
about their past... oh well... ramblings..
of course, it was probably so they wouldn't have to answer questions like
this, and keep us on track with current plot.. ;-)
