[HoE] Re: Spook Juice vs. G-ray "efficiency"
>>Fuel tanks seem to be relatively inefficient

gallon). For the same 10 slots, you could store 100
g-rays (with a
power
pack), or 80 g-rays if you prefer spirit batteries.<<
The key thing to think about is about the amount of
ghost rock you use up.
You get only 80 GR/pound of ghost rock, or 5 GR/ounce,
which at $10 an ounce, ends up costing you
$2/GR...every time you charge the thing up.
Now, with the same ounce of ghost rock, and a chemical
component, you can make 5 GALLONS of spook juice.
Let's compare: 100GR powerpack vs. 1 gallon fuel tank
in a frame 10 car w/ 10 mph acceleration (giving it a
max speed of 120 mph). Assuming we floor it the whole
way, the powerpack takes us about 1700 miles, while
the tank takes us a mere 50 miles. However, it costs
$200 to recharge the battery. That same amount of
money will get 12 ounces of ghost rock and 12 chemical
components, making 60 gallons of spook juice. Those
60 gallons will take you 3000 miles, almost twice as
far. Spook juice is ALWAYS better than GR, at least
in the long run.
