I assume Modeen's dead.  The reason Durden's so high
on the list is that he's very charismatic and his
message is infectious.  This guy is a PR nightmare for
the templars, and his army of disciples grows with
every town he enters. (Watch Fight Club if you don't
understand.)

BTW, the reason Durden doesn't have any equipment is
that..well...I forgot.  He's a very spartan guy, using
a little equipment as possible.  In fact, he doesn't
actually use a weapon in HTH combat (follows the rules
of Fight Club, with the exception that kills are OK.)
