Actually the last date does have significance.  2081 is the year the Mormon
Church has predicted doomsday. (Not that I would really worry. They missed
their first three guesses.) But the date is mentioned in City of Gloom. Pg 8. I
am sure that why Shane used it.
Now I know why that years was chosen!! Yay!!
I am currently working on dates and stuff.
