Well, to say including a map makes them likely to go bankrupt is a bit of
stretch, but what Shane is and has said in the past is that boxed sets are
less profitable for them in a few ways. First off is the packaging, thoes
boxes may look nice on your game shelf, but if they are avoidable then they
save a few bucks. Plus, all the extras in the boxed sets, like the dime
novel sized rules supplements and the maps are nice, and I like them, but
again, they do cut into the profit margin.

I think that the improtant thing to keep into perspective here is that this
is a larger book than the average PEG book (an extra 20 something pages,
IIRC), the only thing that we aren't getting that was supposed to be in the
boxed set is a map. Considering that it's also 5 bucks chaeaper than a boxed
set would have been I'd say we have little to complain about (maybye about
the lack of map, and that's it.)

Me, I won't miss the map, I never use 'em. ut to mirror what Allan said, I
do miss the Dime Novels. Oh well. But I do want to add that I can't wait for
the Epitaph.
