I hate to look like the PEG fan boy here.... but....


If I was in the role of publisher I would be feeling a little of the
"ungrateful pieces of #%$^" attitude right now! 

I would instead consider, as a buyer of the game, am I willing to throw in
another $5 for a map? And even if I will, I wonder what the economic
disadvantages of increasing my book price by $5 will be? Does that mean one
more person, says, "Well, I can only afford one book and the PEG book costs
$5 more so let me but this TSR / White Wold book instead!".

These are all realistic problems that I am sure Shane and Co. have to
consider. I am also positive that there is nothing they would like to do
more than include a color glossy map, and 2 dozen free miniatures with each
game. But, they do need to keep the game company going. 

So the question is to you want PEG to take a loss on the book by including a
free glossy map at the cost of the company going under and there being NO
MORE PRODUCTS AT ALL?

Now, before you flame me, please note I have not attacked anyone here. I
have simply stated that people who are flaming PEG should take a step back
and consider the economics of what they are DEMANDING (not even asking for
nicely).

Personally, Shane, I would like to see a glossy map in future products and
would be willing to pay a little more for it.
